Earth Day...Le Jour de la Terre

Earth Day est un mouvement environnemental populaire aujourd’hui mondialement reconnu.

L’édition 2009, intitulée ” Votre planète a besoin de vous - unis pour combattre le changement climatique ” sera animée par le Mexique.

Earth Day Founder Gaylord Nelson passed away July 2005 at the age of 89. He believed strongly that education is the key to changing people's attitudes about the environment and he devoted much of his energy to that challenge. In the section below, which he prepared not long before his death, he answered some of the questions he was most often asked about the how he conceived the first Earth Day, why and what his hopes for the observance were.

Le Fondateur de Jour de la Terre Gaylord Nelson est décédé le juillet 2005 à l'âge de 89 ans. Il a cru fortement que l'éducation est la clé pour faire changer le comportement des peuples face à l'environnement et il a consacré une grande partie de son énergie à ce défi.
Le 22 avril, ce sera un événement mondial, la Journée de la Terre ! (Earth Day) Le monde actuel se doit de conserver en bon état notre planète pour les générations futures. Les populations du monde entier s’unissent pour réduire le gaspillage et promouvoir la sensibilisation à l’environnement et ce que nous pouvons faire pour lui.
